Aberdeen is well connected to the rest of the UK and further afield being two flights from almost anywhere in the world. There are roughly 40 UK flights per day, 10 European flights per day and the city is connected to 5 international hubs....

Aberdeen is a relatively compact city with a range of transport options. The airport, P&J Live (the main conference venue) and the city centre are all connected by the 727 Stagecoach Jet Bus which operates regularly throughout the day. You can download the app in advance or pay by cash or card on the bus.
RGU's Garthdee Campus (venue for the SIGs) is accessible using the First Bus Numbers 1 and 2 from the city centre, and drop on campus just outside the building where the SIGs reception will be located.
For those attending SIGs complimentary transport will be provided between RGU and P&J Live on the afternoon of 14 April 2026.
To help with planning we have tested the routes and assuming you are coming from a city centre hotel the journey time to RGU is roughly 45 minutes with the journey time to P&J Live being roughly 1 hour. This gives you time to walk from your hotel to your nearest bus stop, wait for the next bus, and travel to your end location.
